Creative Movement classes for 3 and 4 year olds are designed to introduce dance in a fun and supportive environment with the goal of instilling a life long love of dance and movement. The class begins with circle time, followed by center work that stresses proper body alignment, games that introduce a variety of musical and movement concepts, and across the floor combinations.
Pre-Ballet is a class for kindergarten age dancers. Students will be introduced to basic ballet steps and terminology while developing coordination, balance, and strength. Class begins with center barre, followed by jumps and turns across the floor.
Hip Hop classes teach rythm, coordination and age-appropriate choreography. Students are challenged to think on their feet while enjoying an energetic and fast-paced dance class. Hip hop dancers develop strength, agility and focus while having fun.
Beginning Tap is a class for dancers age 5 and up who have never studied tap before. The basic tap vocabulary, along with rhythm and musicality, will be taught. The class begins with a warm up, followed by across the floor combinations, and choreography.
