Shannon Elliott obtained her B.S. in Dance Management from Oklahoma City University and her M.A. in Dance from York University in Toronto.  Her professional performing career includes four years with River North Chicago Dance Company, two seasons at Music Theatre of Wichita, and many freelance projects in the theatrical and commercial arenas.  Shannon studied on scholarship at Tremaine Dance Center and The Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, and she has performed works by notable choreographers such as Danny Ezralow, Kevin Iega Jeff, Lauri Stallings, Sherry Zunker and Ashley Roland.  Shannon has taught dance to both children and adults for many years, and her experience in arts administration includes various positions at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, the Canadian Dance Assembly, York University’s Dance Department, and most recently at National Dance Institute of New Mexico as the Santa Fe Artistic Program Producer.
