Jazz & Modern Instructor

Miss Anita has been teaching at DALA for seven years. She has taught classes for ages three to adult in Creative, Modern, Jazz, Musical Theatre and Repertory. In 1992 she created and designed an early childhood program for her dance studio in Louisville, Colorado. She brought this program to DALA and used it for her creative dance classes these past years.

While in Boulder she produced and choreographed a semi-autobiographical concert entitled "Soapbox". She was also Artist in Residence for A Wing and A Prayer Modern Dance Company in Reno, NV. For three years she worked with the Olions Theatre group at LAHS choreographing Guys and Dolls, Once Upon A Mattress and Aida. Anita's background is in modern dance, studying throughout the United States.
